I stayed here for a week, and would definitely come back again. The apartment was super cute and cozy, and the kitchen had everything I needed. The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of hot water, and I enjoyed the lovely views from the large windows. The free parking is indeed right outside, and staff were very responsive and friendly even though they were not physically on-site. Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Icelandic apartments. We were a little skeptical about booking a place with no front desk, but the staff were very responsive via email and we had no issues. The rooms were comfortable and spacious, and the location was great. Only 20 minutes from Reykjavik center and free parking. The Skalli bistro is walking distance and had very good food. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Overall quite an ok place to stay. We had amazing views towards the lake with amazing sunrises. The apartment had all the basics and was decently sized for two people. And we found the price quite ok for the area.
On the negative side: The noise of the adjacent road is clearly to hear. Thankfully the traffic is quite low during the night, so it did not disturb our sleep. We also missed some hooks where we could put up our stuff. Especially when you are coming from the outside and it is pouring, one does not put the soaking wet coat inside a closet. Additionally, the shower screen is too small and the whole bathroom floor gets wet while showering.

My family and I had planned a stay at Icelandic Apartments, but unfortunately, we had to cancel our trip due to an unexpected illness in the family. The hotel staff were incredibly understanding and compassionate. They processed our refund, which really eased our stress during a difficult time. Apparemment propre , avec tout ce qu’il faut, on peut même faire nos machines pas besoin d’acheter de la lessive il y a vraiment tout tout, c’est super bien organisé facile d’accès (code) tout est bien expliqué chaque fois que je viendrais en Islande je réserverais dans ce logement !!

Very close to city centre and have a supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, shopping places nearby.
Deluxe appartments were great and very spacious.
Host was very helpful and responsive for queries.

For 4 adults in an appartment, they forgot to provide a comforter cover

Alors pour commencer les bons côtés, chambre très propre et c'est assez facile de se rendre partout en voiture de cet endroit. Nous sommes arrivés à 2h du matin, le code de la porte était faux donc nous avons appelés une personne qui nous l'a donné. De plus la porte d'en bas n'a pas cessé de changer de code sans que nous en soyons informés, c'était vraiment pénible. Du coup les gens laissaient la porte ouverte pu des punk à chiens sing venus squatter pour manger et se reposer. L'appartement est très propre mais il n'y a qu'une toute petite ouverture possible pour une fenêtre en hauteur, ce qui est assez pénible. J'ai aimé la literie, ma femme pas du tout.
Vraiment le point négatif fût le manque de communication des codes et l'impression que la gérante s'en fou un peu...
