Skyr Guesthouse er ekki einn eðra hótel sem er með fullt hús, og er einnig vánligt að hafa svona baðkar í herberginu.

Geggjaður maturinn og vel útilátið. Brunchinn var æði. Frábær þjónusta. Gæfi fullt hús ef ekki fyrir frekar hljóðbært herbergi þar sem hurðaskellir og bílaumferð trufluðu hvíldina frá snemma að morgni. En allt svo hreint og fallegt.
Öðruvísi að hafa svona baðkar inn í herberginu 😀

A fuir sans réfléchir. Très bruyant le week-end ! Un restaurant et surtout une salle privatisée le vendredi et samedi en dessous des chambres, illogique pour un lieu ou des gens dorment. Un dj qui mix de l'éléctro jusqu'à 2h. Même nos murs vibraient. Des portes claquants quand les gens vont fumer dehors, rire voir hurler sous votre fenêtre... bref une catastrophe. Je n'ai jamais vécu cela nulle part et pourtant j'ai pas mal voyagé.
Sinon la chambre est grande et cosy, rien a dire sur la partie hôtel. Le resto n'est pas donné mais c'est très bon! Le service moyen, très lent car serveuse mono tâche. Si vous souhaitez dormir au dessus d'une boite de nuit allez y sinon passez votre chemin.

Fuyez ultra bruyant le week-end ! Il y’a une salle des fêtes souvent réservée dans le restaurant qui se trouve juste en dessous des chambres. Là quand je vous écris je peux chanter avec l’orchestre et le karaoké depuis mon lit dans ma chambre, la nuit va être horrible. Et je ne parle pas des portes qui claquent à chaque fois que les gens sortent de la salle et tous ceux qui parlent très fort devant le restaurant. Inadmissible de louer des chambres dans ces conditions.

I needed 1 night sleep. There is a restaurant right underneath the rooms (rooms are in 2nd flool, restaurant is on the 1st floor). Drunken folks, and the music that restaurant plays are not allowing to sleep at all till deep, deep night. Moreover, when it finally settled down with restaurant (I had to go down to the restaurant asking them to turn music down) - the fire alarm when off in different rooms (at about midnight), and then 2nd time after a while and then 3rd time...
I went down to the restaurant to asm about it (you have to go through restaurant management, since there is nobody else to contact regarding any needs or issues you have... even check in has to go through restaurant)... Anyway, I was told not to worry about the alrm it was also going on and off a nignt before!!! So, I should be happy I am not the inly one who couldn't sleep and almost has a heart attack!? Really? I tried to ask my money back and leave in a spot since I cannot sleep anyway, and it wasn't granted!!!
Moreover, shower area was dirty, aka never washed (disgusting). Also, some rioms do n9t have a shower and do not have a toilet so you woupd have to use a common shower - there is no lock in there, so anyone can walk in and see you any moment and common toilet (has a lock). I am not sure who was so nice to leave a 5 star review... This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had. My father chose this place for stay... So, I sort of had choice...
P.S - the only window leaked water in after rain. Sink in the room was full of dirty water left after someone and plug was broken wo there was no way for me to let that water off (disgusting). Moreover, I noticed that sink is leaking water down on floor little by little, too... So, there are multiple issues.

Great location in a lovely valley full of hikes and hot springs. The b&b doesn’t offer any breakfast anymore but you can order a lunch box a day in advance. Rooms are very small and there is no real common area, with the kitchen doubling as laundry room. Be aware of the mosquitos.

Small, comfortable room with a shared kitchen and bathroom, ideal for a couple of days that you plan to spend more outside than inside. It was very quiet and clean. The kitchen fridge wasn't working, but we didn't ask for it to be fixed either. We got our room cleaned daily and towels refreshed. You can request a breakfast boxe for about 3000kr (has plenty of food inside) an evening in advance, to have food prepared for adventures the next day - great idea!
