We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Geo Hotel Grindavik! The rooms were clean, cozy, and well-equipped, making it perfect for our family trip. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to offer great local tips and assistance. The breakfast was fresh and delicious with plenty of choices. The location is ideal for exploring the Blue Lagoon and other nearby attractions. We truly felt at home and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Grindavik.

We had a fantastic stay at Geo Hotel – the perfect base for exploring the Reykjanes Peninsula. The rooms were clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. Staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It’s just a short drive from the Blue Lagoon and some beautiful hiking spots. Staff were friendly, professional, and always ready to help with local recommendations or transportation tips. Solid hotel and close to blue lagoon so is what it is. 2 of 3 hotel rooms wouldn’t lock from the outside so that was concerning so need to fix that issue. Front desk was amazingly receptive and complimentary breakfast was great!

Poor breakfast. Breakfast till 10am. Came with my gamily @9.15am. No more fresh bread, eggs and bacon. Personal told us simply there is no more. For that price I expect a bit more effort. Otherwise rooms vclean and ok.

Het dorpje Grindavik is wel bijna helemaal verlaten. Er zijn nog wel 2 restaurants open.
De kamer was erg netjes en het ontbijt was uitstekend. Ruime parkeergelegenheid.

Quiet and easy access hotel. Rooms are standards, as invite fruits and Prosecco.
Cafe machine in the room.
Great and tasty breakfast with variety of food as in 6* hotels.

Ein sehr schönes Hotel mit praktischen Zimmern. Tolles Frühstück und schöne Lage direkt in Grindavik.
Allerdings: Ich bin nicht pingelig, aber ich hatte noch nie ein dreckigeres Zimmer. Barfuß im Zimmer hatte schwarze Bettlaken zur Folge 😅 Außerdem ging der Fernseher nicht. Aber alles halb so wild - ich schiebe das auf die Anlaufphase nach dem katastrophalen Rift in Grindavik. Ich komme gern wieder.

Ach, und ja : Das Wasser riecht stark nach Schwefel. Stört aber den Geologen nicht 🙂
