I stayed at this hotel for one night with 2 other people. It is conveniently located in the middle of Egilsstadir along the Ring Road. When looking for directions Google told us this hotel was temporarily closed, and upon arrival we almost believed it. There were 2 cars in the parking lot and it was very hard to find the entrance. It turned out the hotel was open, however most guests just stay for one night as they are road-tripping around Iceland and had not arrived for the night yet.

The room itself was fine. We had two beds on the main level then one bed up in the rather spacious loft. There were black curtains covering the windows, but it was definitely not a black-out curtain. I would not have slept at all if I hadn't brought a sleep mask. The bathroom was very small, but the main issue was a lack of cleanliness. There was one bottle of shampoo in the shower, but no hand soap to be found. I stayed at 7 other accommodations across Iceland and never had this problem anywhere else.There was also hair on the wall that was too dark to be anyone from my party's.

The cleaning standards of this place are sub-par, but it did it's job and was a place to sleep. The view from the window was pretty and we had a nice view of a lupine hill.

Friendly staff, good fish (catch of the day was Cod) in the restaurant. Rooms are basic, as these are student rooms that are repurposed as hotel rooms in the summer. That is fine and actually quite clever. Free big parking lot. Location is a bit remote, certainly if you travel from the north. Very good breakfast!

Verdient den Namen Hotel nicht. Ist ein Schülerwohnheim, welches in den Ferien auch an Touristen vermietet wird. Abfluss in der Toilette/Dusche war kaputt und der Geruch ließ sich nur durch zwei aufgelegte Handtücher stoppen. Der Duschkopf war lose, und auch die Leitung aus der Wand kommend machte keinen vertrauenserweckenden Eindruck

有點不理解評價怎麼這麼低，可能我們運氣好，整個入住體驗很不錯。
房間超級大，而且是樓中樓，上下樓都各兩張床，住起來安靜舒適，廁所保持的滿乾淨。很多人提到的窗簾遮光不夠，的確是有這個問題，但也不至於影響太大。

Mi sento in dovere di spezzare una lancia in favore di questa struttura molto bistrattata in altre recensioni.
Si percepisce in effetti che in altri periodi dell'anno questa enorme struttura è adibita ad altro scopo ovvero ad ostello o ricovero per studenti.
Ma questo le contribuisce un fascino particolare.
Noi abbiamo alloggiato in una camera quadrupla molto grande e disposta su due piani. Dal piano superiore si godeva di una bellissima vista.
Il bagno in perfetto stato e tutti i locali risultavano molto puliti ed imbiancati di fresco.
Insomma per dirla tutta non mi sono sentito a disagio in questa struttura ma ho pensato a quanto sono fortunati questi studenti ad alloggiare in un hotel a due stelle.
Sui prezzi niente da dire sono nella media islandese.

A hotel nagyon egyszerű, kint a város peremén. Kis szoba, gyűrött ágynemű. Kávé, tea, vízforraló van. Fürdőszobában nincs pohár, se szappan, csak tusfürdő. A törölközők tiszták voltak. A gyűrött ágynemű azt a benyomást keltette bennem, hogy az ágy így maradt az előző vendég után. A hotel egyszerűsége ellenére a reggeli finom volt. Választék is volt. Sajt, főtt tojás, gyümölcs, felvágottak, kenyerek, kávé, koffeinmentes is, tea, lekvárok, croissan, stb. Az ágynemű milyensége alapozta meg, hogy csak két csillagot adtam.

Rapporto qualità/prezzo non idoneo. Scarsa pulizia delle stanze, assenza di tende oscuranti, con stanza a doppia esposizione e senza ore di buio in periodo estivo. |Stanza tripla con terzo letto su soppalco raggiungibile da ripida scala a chiocciola quindi non idoneo per un bambino. Alla richiesta di una soluzione diversa non è stato possibile nemmeno parlarne, l’unica risposta è stata “that is” con tanto di spallucce. |Colazione mediocre. |Nel complesso troppo caro per ciò che offrono
