Posizione spettacolare praticamente a picco sul mare del fiordo, buono anche il servizio, ma le stanze, vecchiotte e non organizzare benissimo: lampade da notte lontane dal letto, sgabelli per comodino, prese lontane dal letto. Tutto molto essenziale, e potrebbe andare pure bene, ma mancavano di pulizia (specie sotto la porta del bagno briciole, polvere, ma anche un capello fra gli asciugamani). Peccato.

The location is great. A very cozy town. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, with a view of the mountain through the window. The receptionist was very kind. We had booked 3 rooms, but upon arrival we realized that 2 were enough. They refunded the money for one room, which we didn't expect. I recommend it.

Estuvimos alojados en este hotel durante 1 noche haciendo el circuito por Islandia. Había leído malas opiniones sobre este hotel y una vez he estado allí no entiendo las críticas.|En primer lugar se encuentra muy bien situado en el pueblo, las habitaciones tienen unas vistas preciosas al fiordo...!!|La cena que nos sirvieron fue deliciosa, había una especie de buffet donde podías encontrar pasta e ingredientes suficientes para hacerte una ensalada además de sopa de vegetales, y de segundo plato había pescado, bacalao y salmón, ambos riquísimos con guarnición de patatas asadas y zanahorias... |El desayuno también buffet tenía platos calientes (bacon, huevos fritos, gofres) y luego había todo tipo de cosas frías (yogur, skyr, cereales, bollería y galletas). También tostadas de pan, una mantequilla de limón que estaba espectacular y mermeladas variadas... todo un lujo...!!! Y por supuesto máquina de café para hacerte un capuccino o un expresso, un americano, un latte macchiato o simplemente leche caliente...|Había una camarera española trabajando en el hotel por el período estival.

Да, в душевой ллинолеум на полу, но из 7 отелей в Исландии, где уровень вроде был выше, это единственный, где на завтрак была не только нарезка из колбасы и сыра, плюс амлет из ямчного порошка, но свежежаренный бекон, яйца, красная рыба.

Das war der erinnerungswürdigste und schrägste Check in, den ich je gehabt hatte.
Ankunft in einem menschenleeren Hotel.
Telefon an der Rezeption zu einem Kontakt! Die Managerin kam sofort mit dem Auto und händigte mir die Schlüsselkarte aus. Die funktionierte nicht.
Wieder musste die Managerin kommen, diesmal gab es einen Schlüssel dazu.
Am Zimmer passte nun weder der Schlüssel noch die Karte!
Ein drittesmal musste sie kommen und nun begleitete sie mich zu einem neuen Zimmer persönlich.
Für diesen Stress gab es ein free Dinner in der Stadt!
Ruhiges Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick.
Zum Frühstück gab es zum erstenmal in Island Spiegeleier !

Beautiful views. Cute town, has a great restaurant called the bait shop close by . Seems to be under renovation so should be better in the future. Our washroom was small to have an open shower. Mattress could have been more comfy. But all of the amenities included were great including free breakfast plus tea and coffee all day. The decor in the rooms was great

Ho trascorso una notte durante un tour. Posizione incantevole e vista incantevole sia dalla camera che dal ristorante. Camera molto spartana, bagno piccolo con doccia separata solo da una tenda d'annata. Sia la cena che la colazione erano a buffet con discrta varietà. Cittadina insignificante.

Exquisite location, great service and extremely friendly staff. We only stayed there for 2 nights but this was by far one of the best experiences that we had throughout our 3 week trip across Iceland. The staff and hotel manager were warm and welcoming. The area is extremely peaceful and quiet and if you want to relax and read a book while enjoying the unspoilt scenery, this is the place!
